Aristocrat's 50 Dragons Slot Machine |
Following the release of their popular 50 Lions slot into the online environment it was only a matter
of time before the 50 Dragons slot joined the ranks of Aristocrat online slots.
Although the game is perhaps more of a fixture in Asian casinos (I saw it a helluva lot in Macau on my last visit) it is
still pretty well known in some Latin american and European casinos. For the unitiated it is an identical game (as far
as gameplay is concerned) to 50 Lions but with a Chinese Dragon theme.
Like 50 Lions, the 50 Dragons slot comes in two flavours - 50 payline and a 100 payline version (100 Dragons!) which is't
yet available online. Don't get too confused by the fact that there is also a 5 Dragons game - that is a totally different game
and in my humble opinion, not as much fun to be honest.
The keys to the 50 Dragons slot are the stacked Dragon symbols which appear on every reel and the free spin feature which
is triggered by 3 bonus symbols (the same ones as used in Aristocrat's Choy Sun Doa slot as it happens) on reels 1, 2 and 3.
Retriggers are possible but rare. On each of the 10 free spins, although you don't get any extra multiplier, you do get
more stacked dragons and stacked wilds added so the chances of a bigger hit increase as the free spins play out.
